WHO WE FUND

Non-profit organizations in Lake County, Michigan.  Four types of grants are funded: human services, education, environment, and arts and culture.

HOW TO APPLY

Non-profit organizations in Lake County are eligible to apply annually. The Foundation recognizes the need to be flexible in its policies so that it might be responsive to creative or innovative proposals.  Charitable organizations which are qualified as exempt from Federal income tax under Section 501 of the Internal Revenue Code or by legal definition (i.e., schools and government agencies) are eligible to request grant funds up to $2000 per proposal. Grant awards are announced in May and we publish a full list of the grants in the summer edition of our newsletter, Community Connections.

Completed applications can be returned to the Baldwin Community Schools administration office or mailed to the LCCF, P.O. Box 995, Baldwin, MI  49304.

If you have questions, please email or call LCCF grant committee chair, Randy Howes at 231-745-4791.
